Dr Peggy Brown talks trauma recovery and wellbeing

In this episode, we chat with Dr Peggy Brown AO, one of the commissioners of the Royal Commission into Defence and veteran suicide.

Peggy is a psychiatrist and a member of the pharmaceutical benefits advisory board. 

Previously, she served as CEO of the National Mental Health Commission and was contracted by the Department of Veterans Affairs to conduct reviews into its trauma recovery and wellbeing and support programs.

She was also engaged as an advisor to the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare and chaired its review into past defence and veteran suicides.
